Making Medicare Clear
Personalized support from trusted local advisors
Medicare is a federal health insurance program primarily for people age 65 and older, as well as some younger individuals with certain disabilities or medical conditions. It’s made up of several parts that each cover different healthcare needs — Part A for hospital care, Part B for outpatient and medical services, Part C (Medicare Advantage) for all-in-one private coverage, and Part D for prescription drugs.
Understanding how these parts work together — and what they don’t cover — is key to making informed choices. At Triangle Medicare Solutions, our advisors compare plans from multiple carriers, review your doctors and prescriptions, and guide you through enrollment — all at no cost to you.

Our Medicare Planning Process
A step-by-step approach to getting it right
From your first call to enrollment, we make the process clear and comfortable. We begin by learning about your doctors, prescriptions, and healthcare priorities. Then we educate you on how Original Medicare works, what it covers, and where supplemental plans come in. Once you understand your choices, we compare Medicare options from multiple trusted carriers side by side — so you can see the differences in coverage and cost clearly. When you’re ready, we’ll walk you through the enrollment process and remain available year-round to answer questions or help with changes during the annual enrollment period.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Answers to the Most Common Medicare Questions
When can I first enroll in Medicare and these plans?
Most people become eligible for Medicare around age 65. You can sign up during your Initial Enrollment Period, which lasts for seven months — three months before your 65th birthday, your birth month, and three months after. If you delay Medicare because you have employer coverage, you may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period later. Each year, from October 15 through December 7, the Annual Enrollment Period allows you to review or change Medicare Advantage and Part D plans.
What if I’m still working past 65 — do I need to enroll right away?
That depends on your situation. If you have employer health coverage that’s considered creditable, you may be able to delay enrolling in Medicare without penalty. However, if your employer plan is smaller or less comprehensive, it might make sense to enroll sooner. We’ll review your situation to help you decide what’s best.
Do you offer plans from all the major insurance companies?
Yes. We partner with leading insurers such as Blue Cross NC, Humana, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare, among others. If there’s a plan outside our portfolio that fits your needs, we’ll still explain how it works — our goal is to ensure you have the right coverage, even if it’s not through us.
How do Medicare Advantage and Supplements differ in cost?
Medicare Advantage plans usually have lower or even $0 monthly premiums but may include copays, coinsurance, and provider network limitations. Medicare Supplement plans have higher premiums but offer broader access and lower out-of-pocket costs. Which is more cost-effective depends on your healthcare usage, prescriptions, and preferred doctors.
Can you help me compare plans in my area?
Absolutely. Our team uses your ZIP code, preferred doctors, and current prescriptions to find Medicare plans available in your area. We’ll show you side-by-side comparisons and help you understand what’s covered before you enroll.
